Joshua's 6th!

Today, we celebrated Joshua's 6th Bday. We had a delightful gathering of family and friends at our "Lego" themed party. It was Joshua's first party with some of his new classmates from first grade at Sierra Madre Elementary School, and we enjoyed getting to know some of the families in the local neighborhood.

There were many games, including exploring the pyramid of blocks (compliments of Yogurtland and hard prep work by Hue), a paper airplane contest, smashing a Lego piñata, construction of personalized Lego cars and races, and guessing the number of Legos in a big jar. Fun times were had by all.

Lego table and car construction zone.

Looks like we have a winner!

The adults did even better, surprise surprise.

Tough little handmade Piñata by Hue. Too tough, actually.

Joshua's running jump swing. I don't think it helped.

The kids only managed to wound the Piñata. In the end, the adults had to put the Piñata out of its misery.

Another one of Hue's beautiful customized cakes.

Congrats Joshua!
